Supported Living – Without Personal Care
Our supported living (without personal care) services are designed for individuals who are able to manage their personal care independently but require structured, reliable support to live safely, confidently, and successfully within the community.
This service focuses on enabling people to maintain their independence while receiving the practical and emotional support needed to sustain tenancies, build life skills, and engage meaningfully with their local environment.
What This Service Includes
- Support with daily living skills such as meal planning, shopping, cleaning, and maintaining a healthy routine
- Assistance with budgeting, bill management, and understanding tenancy responsibilities
- Support to attend appointments, access education or employment, and engage with community services
- Encouragement to build social networks, pursue hobbies, and develop independence and confidence
Support is delivered in a flexible and person-centred manner, adapting as individuals grow in confidence and capability.
Important Information
This service does not include regulated personal care. Support is delivered in line with housing-related and community support principles, promoting independence, tenancy rights, and personal choice.
Supported Living – With Personal Care (CQC-Regulated)
Where individuals require hands-on assistance with personal care, Primus PLUS Healthcare provides CQC-regulated supported living services, delivered by trained, supervised, and competent staff.
This service is suitable for individuals who wish to live within supported living accommodation but require personal care as part of their daily support.
What This Service Includes
- Personal care delivered in line with assessed needs, preferences, and dignity
- Individualised care and support planning developed with the person and relevant professionals
- Medication support where assessed as appropriate and safe
- Risk-assessed, outcome-focused support that promotes independence while ensuring safety
Support is reviewed regularly to ensure it remains appropriate and responsive to changing needs.
Regulation
Where personal care is provided, Primus PLUS Healthcare operates as a registered provider with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and delivers regulated activity in accordance with statutory requirements and the CQC Fundamental Standards.
Residential Care
Our residential care services provide safe, structured, and supportive environments for individuals who require 24-hour care, supervision, and consistent staffing.
Residential care is appropriate for individuals whose needs cannot be safely or effectively met through supported living alone and who benefit from a more structured care setting.
